"I was a long time customer of Ron Lunsford who owned this agency before and of the few times I needed them everything went smoothly. I had many vehicles and my house inured with him. After Ms. Parks bought it I started getting cancellation notices on my policies. It took over a year to get them to straighten things out and send me my renewals in the mail, like it had always been done. Then when my house was damaged during hurricane Helene it took 8 months before I could say my house was back to normal and I was fine with everything. Then I still got dropped from State Farm. I can't help but think some of it had to do with mishandeling of forms I had to fill out and pictures I had to take of damages, and why am I having to do all of the insurance companies work for them? Anyway, keep shoping around for your own piece of mind."

While I can’t speak to the processes of the prior agency owner, I do want to clarify that many of the concerns you’ve mentioned—such as claims handling, underwriting decisions, and policy cancellations—are managed directly by State Farm, not at the agency level. My team’s role is to guide and assist our clients through those processes, but we do not control claim timelines, underwriting requirements, or renewal decisions. That said, I understand how frustrating it is to experience policy changes and claim delays, especially after a hurricane. My office is always committed to promptly communicating updates, helping with required forms or photos, and advocating for our customers with the insurance company whenever possible. I appreciate your many years as a customer and wish things had gone more smoothly for you. If you’d like, I’m happy to discuss your concerns directly to ensure you have clarity on what happened and what was within our control."
